I did not try the old version, but I found the new version so soothing and non-irritating compared to a lot of centella serums such as the skin1004 ampoule.

I've used both products. I really like the new version, very hydrating and soothing for my sensitive skin.

I used the old formula for years and just recently decided to buy the new one to try and I really love it! It's way more soothing, calming and hydrating imo.

About ten years ago i used SKII, its very basic regimen (pitera essence, clear lotion, and cleansing gel) without any moisturizer and serum, just those three products regularly for a year and i can say that my skin was at its best condition...flawless and bright Then i tried different brand, because they say SKII is overprice...i've been trying what so called the dupe and i could say that nothing better than the SKII essence. The gel cleanser also amazed me...an amazing formula, the first cleansing gel i've ever tried...but then i found heimish gel cleanser also works really well. Now after 10yrs and after trying so many brand...i'd like back to a very simple routine, yet works best at me.....the SKII essence, fresh cleanser (this is the best face cleanser ever), tatcha dewy moisturizer, and anessa sunscreen. Since i dont wear any makeup, drugstore make up remover like nivea is enough to double cleanse. And also because i dont buy make up, i could afford my most favourite skincare

Also- NOT a toner, but have you tried the Kaine green gel cream? Wondering if you could review it. I’m looking for a lightweight gel cream and am very sensitive. It seems to have great ingredients like panthenol, centella, and ectoin…. Could you review?! 🙏🏻💗

Kelly! I just recently added the Kaine Kombu toner into my routine a couple weeks ago after binge watching all of your videos 😅(my skin needs help!) I replaced my isntree green tea toner because I wanted something hydrating and less astringent without giving up my tea!!! Tretinoin has made me flaky and dry… I’m typically SUPER SENSITIVE and combination ❤ I am very interested in trying the Numbuzin 1 as well- maybe adding it in if it’s light enough or pairing it at night with my tretinoin for extra care! Thank you for all of your amazing recommendations 💗

Mary&may changed my skin. But the calming blimish line. I like the blackberry line but the cica heartleaf and teatree line has changed my skin! The blackberry line i use just for hydration and barrier support.

Kelly ❤ would you recommend the solid in ceramide cream for sensitive combo skin types that need barrier care? I am using Pacifica vegan ceramide cream and it’s an odd thick paste but doesn’t leave my skin nourished… I still wake up flakey. Yet during the day I need lightweight gel creams 😢🙏🏻

Even "daily" sunscreens must be at least water-resistant to be able to wear them in the summer. Otherwise, they will melt off in the heat/humidity just by being outside in the heat. Even if you don't exercise - you can just stand still outside, and the heat will make it drip off. I don't get how people can wear any of these in the SUMMER. Any other season, yes, but in the summer I find that they tend to melt off. I'm still looking for a sunscreen that is "grippy" enough for the summer. So weird how all sunscreens tend to be advertised as moisturizing. Not a lot of people need moisture in 90% humidity.

Do you have to follow up with a foam cleanser when double cleansing? I've used Juno Skin10, rinsing with warm water and felt like it gave me a good clean and helped me retain my skin's moisture. I have dehydrated, sensitive combo skin and following with a cleanser always felt irritating and stripping. Could you recommend a gentle foam cleanser?🙏

I wear a fabric face cover when walking as well as sunscreen. When I go out to the store, I wear Korean sunscreen and then my Australian Gold tinted sunscreen as makeup.

Hi Kelly!! When is too much centella too much? Lol I have the centella ampoule and helps with some red pimples but doesn't really hydrate, so I wanna buy the pro bio cica one, the hyalu cica cream AND the brightening cleanser hahaha do you think it's too much?

Thank you I’ve been wondering about this lately. As my skin has turned from oily to dry. I am tempted to double cleanse but my face feels dry and tight no matter what cleaner I use. Like the gleanser from prequel, or BOJ green plum cleanser, even isntree yam root milk cleanser.

I only double cleanse if I'm wearing any amount of makeup or if I've had to reapply sunscreen once or more. Double cleansing makes my skin feel so much cleaner then. But if I haven't worn sunscreen or makeup all day (I live in Finland and it's so dark during winter here, so this happens often in the winter months), then I'll just use a water-based cleanser and it's enough 😊

A lot of Korean skincare has daucus carota sativa root extract, tromethamine, and myristic acid in their ingredients list, for example cosrx retinol 0.1 cream, which is considered bad according to Paul's Choice ingredient checkers. Please share your valuable opinions on this. Tnx. Love ur videos.

Thank you for this information. I brought the cosrx cica toner, My skin loves it sooo sooo much. My skin is literally drinking it up. It is sooo hydrating with just two layers. I've added adapalene to my routine twice a week for treating my closed comedones. It is drying my skin out but I am glad I got the toner instead of serum. IT REALLY IS SO HYDRATING. THANKS TO YOU AND SARAH SALEEN, SHE ALSO MENTIONED THIS TONER. My skintype - Combination skin. Concern - closed comedones ( clogged pores ) Treatments - Adapalene & benzyl peroxide.
